NYC’s newest tech installation that went live on May 8, was shut down on May 14 due to heightened raunchy behavior on both the Dublin side and the NYC side. The portal reopened on May 20 with added restrictions on the livestream hours and heighted security patrolling the area.

A sense of global connectedness between New York City and Dublin from the NYC portal installed about two weeks ago was disrupted by heightened raunchy behavior which led to a six-day shutdown before reopening earlier this week with new more limited hours and increased security.
